BlackRapid Metro Camera Sling
BlackRapid Metro Camera Sling | Carry your camera with less fuss
Your camera stays with you as you move, without needing to hold it every moment: the BlackRapid Metro Camera Sling is a camera strap designed for carrying a camera in sling style. It suits photographers who want a dedicated way to carry their camera while walking around, travelling or moving between picture opportunities. Its clearest use is everyday mobility: keep your camera carried, rather than setting it aside whenever you need your hands free. A sling strap is worth considering if a conventional strap worn around the neck doesn’t suit the way you like to carry a camera. The name tells us the product type, but not its construction or adjustment details, so I’d focus on the practical question: do you want a camera sling as your carrying option? If so, the Metro is a straightforward accessory to consider. It’s for carrying a camera, not for changing what the camera can photograph.
Specialist Note
The BlackRapid Metro Camera Sling is for one clear job: carrying your camera in a sling-style strap. I’d consider it if you spend time walking between scenes and want a strap made for carrying a camera, rather than relying on a bag as your only way to transport it. It may also suit days when you’re moving around and want your hands available between pictures. My advice is to think about how you prefer to carry your camera before choosing: this is the sling option, so its appeal is that carrying style itself. I can’t make a more detailed recommendation about its fit or adjustment from the information available, but the product name makes its intended role clear.
