Cartoni AJ104 Mitchell Head Attachment For Jibo
Cartoni AJ104 Mitchell Head Attachment For Jibo | Connect a Mitchell head to Jibo
Mounting a Mitchell head on a Jibo setup is the job of the Cartoni AJ104 Mitchell Head Attachment For Jibo. This tripod accessory is intended for a Jibo arrangement that needs a Mitchell head connection, giving you a clearly named part for that point in the setup. It suits camera operators and crews building or adapting a Jibo-based support system around a Mitchell head. Use it when your planned configuration calls for that combination, rather than treating a general tripod accessory as an interchangeable substitute. The AJ104 is about the connection between the Jibo setup and the head; it isn’t a camera head in its own right. That distinction helps when you’re planning a rig: choose it for the named Jibo-to-Mitchell-head role, then consider the head and the rest of the support system separately. It’s a focused accessory for a specific mounting requirement.
Where it fits in your setup
Think of the AJ104 as the part that brings a Mitchell head into a Jibo setup. That makes it relevant when assembling a system around that head, or when changing a Jibo configuration to use one. Its value is in matching the connection your setup calls for; it doesn’t replace the head or determine how the rest of your rig is configured. Keep the intended Jibo and Mitchell-head combination in view when planning the build.
Specialist Note
The AJ104 gives a Jibo setup a direct way to use a Mitchell head, instead of leaving that connection to an improvised solution. The Mitchell-head wording tells you the role this part is designed to fill: it’s the attachment point for that head, not a substitute for it. And the “For Jibo” in the name is useful guidance when you’re sorting parts for a Jibo rig. I’d consider it for building a Jibo configuration around a Mitchell head, or adapting one to use that head. Keep in mind it’s a mounting accessory; the head itself remains a separate part of the setup.
