Cokin Infra-Red Kit U1HO 27

Cokin Infra-Red Kit U1HO 27 | A named kit for infrared filter work

Choosing an infrared filter can be frustrating when you’re trying to identify a specific kit from a product name alone. The Cokin Infra-Red Kit U1HO 27 is listed in Renz’s Filters > Color Filter category, and its name identifies it as a kit for infrared-filter work. That makes it relevant to photographers who are exploring infrared imagery and want to look for this particular Cokin product by its full designation. The title doesn’t describe what the kit contains or how it fits into a camera setup, so I won’t assume those details. Treat “U1HO 27” as the identifying name when comparing products or discussing the kit with us. If your aim is to experiment with infrared as a creative direction, this is the product page to start from; the useful next step is to establish whether this exact kit suits the filter arrangement you have in mind.

Choosing an infrared direction

Infrared work begins with a creative decision: what kind of image are you hoping to make, and how will a filter fit into that plan? The product name gives you a clear starting point, but the kit’s contents and setup aren’t described here. Keep the full designation, Cokin Infra-Red Kit U1HO 27, to hand when researching your intended use. That helps keep your search focused on the exact product rather than on infrared filters in general. For a considered purchase, match the product identity to the setup you plan to use before settling on a workflow.
