CoreSWX HLX-Ven-GP2 Stud/Gold Mount Power Control Plate V-Mount For Sony Venice | Power control for Venice tripod rigs

Rather than a general tripod fitting, the CoreSWX HLX-Ven-GP2 is identified as a power control plate for Sony Venice use, making it relevant to crews building a camera rig around that system. It’s listed as a tripod accessory, so it suits operators who want this part considered as part of their tripod-based setup, rather than as a standalone camera support. The product name includes V-Mount as well as Stud/Gold Mount, which are useful identifiers when you’re matching the plate to the intended rig. Its clearest purpose is specialist: a power-control component associated with the Sony Venice, in a form intended for tripod accessory use. If your work involves setting up a Venice for controlled, repeatable production, this is the kind of component to assess as part of the rig’s power arrangement. It’s not a general-purpose tripod upgrade; its appeal is in the specific camera and power-control role named for it.

Specialist Note

One camera system is named for this plate: Sony Venice. In practical terms, that makes it a focused option for a Venice rig, rather than a part to choose simply because you need another tripod accessory. The product is described as a power control plate, so I’d consider it when planning how power control fits into a tripod-based Venice setup. Its V-Mount and Stud/Gold Mount wording is also important: keep those exact mount labels in view when you’re checking whether the plate belongs in your build. I like the clear, specialist purpose here; the honest limit is that it’s tied to a particular camera system and isn’t a broad-fit plate.
