Its 35-80mm range suits interviews, scripted scenes and other video work where you may need both a wider view and a closer composition. It’s a telephoto zoom with a Canon EF mount, intended for crews working with Canon EF camera systems. The range is most useful when you want to make measured changes to a shot rather than switch between very wide and very long focal lengths.
