F-Stop Extension Kit For Duradiamond Packs - Hip Belt And Sternum Strap
F-Stop Extension Kit For Duradiamond Packs - Hip Belt And Sternum Strap | Add carrying support to your pack setup
This extension kit is specifically named for F-Stop Duradiamond packs and pairs a hip belt with a sternum strap, rather than being a general-purpose tripod add-on. It suits photographers who use a Duradiamond pack and want these two carrying components as part of their setup. The appeal is its focused fit: you’re choosing an accessory for a stated pack family, not trying to adapt an unrelated strap system. It’s most relevant when your pack is part of a tripod-carrying kit and you want the hip belt and sternum strap included in the arrangement. The product is classified as a tripod accessory, so it belongs with the supporting gear around your tripod setup, rather than with camera or lens equipment. If you own a different pack, the product name gives no reason to assume it will suit that setup.
A focused pack accessory
The name tells you exactly what this kit centres on: a hip belt and a sternum strap for Duradiamond packs. That makes it a straightforward option to consider when completing a pack setup for tripod-related use. It isn’t described as a tripod itself or as a camera-support head; its role here is as an accessory associated with the pack and tripod category. Keep that distinction in mind when choosing equipment: this is the pack accessory, not the tripod component that holds a camera in position.
Specialist Note
Two named pieces make up the idea behind this kit: a hip belt and a sternum strap. In practical terms, it’s for Duradiamond pack users who want those specific carrying elements in their setup, rather than a replacement tripod part. I’d look at it if you’re taking a pack along with tripod gear on a walk between locations, or organising a pack-based kit for a day out. Its stated connection to F-Stop Duradiamond packs is the key point; I wouldn’t treat the name as evidence that it fits other pack ranges. It’s a focused accessory, so choose it for the pack setup it’s made for.
