FALCAM F22 & F38 & F50 Quick Release Camera L-Bracket for Sony A7C | Switch orientation with less fuss

Without an L-bracket, changing from landscape to portrait on a support often means tipping the camera sideways and then adjusting your framing again. This FALCAM bracket is made for the Sony A7C, giving you an L-shaped mounting option for those changes in orientation. It suits A7C owners who regularly move between horizontal and vertical compositions, such as when photographing people or making portraits of buildings. The practical appeal is straightforward: you can mount the camera in a portrait position while keeping it supported from the side, rather than balancing it at an angle. It’s also a focused accessory, not a grip that adds camera controls or changes how the camera makes images. If you mostly shoot handheld, you may have little reason to add one; its value is clearest when you use a support and want portrait framing to feel like a deliberate setup.

Specialist Note

I’d keep one limitation in mind: this bracket is about mounting and orientation, not making the A7C more comfortable to hold or improving image quality. Its appeal is the combination of an L-bracket shape with the F22, F38 and F50 quick-release names in the product title. For portraits, mount the camera in the vertical position instead of leaning it over; for a mix of landscape and portrait frames, switch orientation when the composition calls for it. That makes most sense if your support uses one of the named quick-release formats. If you shoot mainly handheld, I’d save the space in your bag and skip a dedicated bracket.
