Falcon Eyes Honeycomb For 30x160cm Fer-SB30160HC

Falcon Eyes Honeycomb For 30x160cm Fer-SB30160HC | Keep softbox light more controlled

When a large softbox is lighting a subject near a wall or another part of the scene, you may want less light spreading beyond the area you’re aiming at. This Falcon Eyes honeycomb is an accessory for the 30x160cm Fer-SB30160HC softbox. A honeycomb grid helps direct the light forward and limit spill, giving you more control over where the softbox’s light falls. It suits photographers who use that softbox and want to shape its output more precisely, rather than letting the light spread as widely. The useful point is its specific intended fit: this isn’t a general-purpose grid based on the information available here, but one named for the 30x160cm Fer-SB30160HC. That makes it a straightforward addition to a setup built around that softbox.

In practice, a grid is most relevant when the direction of light matters as much as having a broad light source. You might use it to keep spill off a nearby background or to make the lit area more contained. The change is about controlling spread, not changing the softbox into a different kind of light source. If you already work with the named 30x160cm model, this accessory gives you a way to add that control when a scene calls for it, and remove it when you want the light to spread more freely. It’s a focused accessory with a clear purpose: tighter control over light from the softbox it’s made for.
