FeiyuTech Follow Focus Module For FeiyuTech Gimbals In The Scorp Series
FeiyuTech Follow Focus Module For FeiyuTech Gimbals In The Scorp Series | Add follow focus to your gimbal
When a video needs a deliberate change of focus as well as steady movement, this is the accessory to consider for a compatible FeiyuTech Scorp gimbal. The FeiyuTech Follow Focus Module adds a follow-focus function to the gimbal it’s made for, giving video makers another way to manage focus while filming. It’s aimed at owners of FeiyuTech gimbals in the Scorp series who want to build that capability into their setup. Think of a product shot that shifts attention from an object in the foreground to something behind it, or a filmed conversation where focus moves between people. The module’s purpose is specific: follow focus, rather than a general support or stabilising role. It’s best suited to people who have the intended Scorp gimbal and want to make focus changes part of their video work. Its fit is tied to that system, so it isn’t a general-purpose gimbal accessory.
Specialist Note
Focus changes during a moving shot can be awkward to manage; this module is made to add a follow-focus function to the FeiyuTech gimbals it’s designed for. I’d consider it for Scorp owners filming a product close-up, where you can shift attention from the item in front to a detail behind it, or for an interview that moves focus from one speaker to another. The key point is its dedicated follow-focus role: it gives you that function on the gimbal, rather than asking you to treat the gimbal as a general camera accessory. Its intended home is the FeiyuTech Scorp series, so I’d keep the choice specific to that system.
