FeiyuTech G6 Waterproof Gimbal For GOPRO5/6/Sony Rxo
FeiyuTech G6 Waterproof Gimbal for GoPro 5/6 and Sony RX0 | Smoother video on the move
Unlike a support that simply holds a camera still, the FeiyuTech G6 is a gimbal stabiliser made to smooth footage while you move. It suits owners of GoPro 5/6 and Sony RX0 who want to film while walking, speak to camera for a vlog, or capture video on the move without every step dominating the shot. Its waterproof design also makes it a considered option for filming in wet conditions. The G6 is at its best when you want a steadier, more composed view as you move, rather than a static frame from a fixed position. Set your framing before you start, then walk at a measured pace: the gimbal helps smooth movement, while careful handling still makes a difference. If you mainly film from a stationary position, a gimbal may be more than you need.
Specialist Note
New gimbal owners sometimes expect the stabiliser to hide every bump, then walk too quickly for the shot; the G6 is better used with a calm pace and a clear subject in frame. Its stated fit for GoPro 5/6 and Sony RX0 makes it a focused choice for owners of those cameras. For a walking vlog, frame yourself before setting off and keep your stride even; for a moving clip, give the scene time to settle in the frame rather than swinging the camera around. The waterproof design is reassuring when wet conditions might otherwise interrupt filming. Its appeal is specific: this is a tool for moving video, not something every static setup needs.
