Formatt Hitech 67mm Aluminium Holder
Formatt Hitech 67mm Aluminium Holder | A dedicated place for filter control
Without a holder, positioning a filter in front of the lens can mean keeping it steady by hand. The Formatt Hitech 67mm Aluminium Holder gives that job a dedicated piece of equipment. It’s for photographers who use filters and want a holder as part of their working setup. The appeal is simple: you can position a filter while composing without making your fingers part of the arrangement. That can help when shaping a scene—for example, using a filter to manage a bright sky while keeping the foreground in the frame. It suits landscape photography and other considered compositions where filter placement matters. The holder itself doesn’t create a filter effect; that comes from the filter you use. Choose this version when the 67mm designation is the one you need and a dedicated holder suits the way you work.
Specialist Note
When sorting filter gear, I’d start with the 67mm designation and keep this holder with the filters intended for that setup. The number gives you a clear identifier when choosing this specific version. Its aluminium construction means you’re working with a formed metal holder, rather than trying to keep a filter in position with your fingers. It suits landscape photographers and anyone who wants to arrange a filter carefully in the frame: position the filter to manage a bright sky against darker land. One point to keep in mind is that the holder doesn’t change the image by itself; the filter does that work.
