GGS MS-1R Camera Strap - Red
GGS MS-1R Camera Strap - Red | Adjustable carrying for compact cameras
On a city walk, a compact camera needs to stay close while your hands are free for a map, a coffee or a quick change of pace. The GGS MS-1R Camera Strap - Red adjusts from 90 to 160 cm, so you can wear it around your neck or diagonally across your shoulder. It’s intended for mirrorless and compact cameras, making it a good match for street photography, sightseeing and everyday outings with a smaller camera kit. Keep the strap shorter for a closer carry, or extend it for a more relaxed cross-body position. That flexibility is useful when moving between walking and stopping to take a picture. The red nylon strap is straightforward in design, with quick adjustment points for changing its length as you switch how you carry the camera. For a compact camera around town, wear it at the neck; with a mirrorless body, a diagonal shoulder carry keeps the camera with you as you move.
Strap Features
- Nylon construction: The strap is made from nylon, a strong material for carrying your camera on regular walks and outings. It keeps the design simple and functional.
- 15 kg load capacity: The stated capacity supports camera setups with heavier telephoto lenses as well as lighter compact kits. That’s a substantial rating for a mirrorless strap.
- Two attachment styles: It works with both round and rectangular strap fittings. The included adapter hook is for round fittings.
- Quick length adjustment: Two adjustment clips let you change the strap length promptly. That’s handy when switching between a neck carry and a diagonal shoulder carry.
Specialist Note
At 80 g, the MS-1R adds very little weight of its own, which is welcome with a compact camera hanging at your side. The red nylon is easy to pick out among your accessories, too. For street photography, I’d wear it diagonally and shorten it towards 90 cm to keep the camera close as you walk; for a looser shoulder carry, extend it towards 160 cm. Its 15 kg rating is generous, although the strap is specifically presented for mirrorless and compact cameras. I’d choose it for that kind of kit and appreciate the adjustable carry rather than buying on the load figure alone.
