H&Y HD EVO-Series Streak Transparent Filter Kit 95mm
H&Y HD EVO-Series Streak Transparent Filter Kit 95mm | Add deliberate streaks from bright lights
Without a filter, bright point lights keep their ordinary appearance in the frame. The H&Y HD EVO-Series Streak Transparent Filter Kit 95mm is for photographers who want to introduce a streak effect while working with a transparent filter. It suits creative night photography, portraits with bright lights in the background, or any scene where a streak can become part of the composition. Its particular strength is giving you a deliberate visual treatment to explore, rather than simply leaving the light sources untouched. Think of a street lamp or a bright sign as an element to place carefully in your framing; the streak can then draw the eye through the image. This is a specific effect, so it’s best suited to someone who wants that look in selected frames, rather than a filter they’ll use for every photograph. The 95mm size is also an important part of choosing it: make sure your filter setup is made for that size.
Specialist Note
For night streets on a 95mm filter setup, I’d use this when a bright sign or lamp deserves a more graphic presence in the frame. The 95mm designation gives you a clear sizing cue, so match it to a setup made for 95mm filters. Its “streak” name points to the creative treatment; I’d compose with a strong light source placed deliberately, then decide whether its streak helps lead the viewer through the picture. The transparent description makes this an interesting option when you want that effect without choosing a coloured filter. It suits photographers who enjoy shaping the look of light, but it’s a specialised choice: I’d keep it for scenes where the streak is part of the idea.
