Hahnemühle DFA German Etching 310GSM 88.9x118.8cm 25

Hahnemühle DFA German Etching 310GSM 88.9x118.8cm 25 | Large-format photo paper, 25 sheets

Choosing photo paper gets tricky when the print needs to be large: a familiar small-sheet format won't suit every project. Hahnemühle DFA German Etching is photo paper in sheets measuring 88.9 x 118.8 cm, supplied as a quantity of 25. It’s for photographers and printmakers who need paper at this scale and want to work with a named paper type rather than choose by dimensions alone. The title also gives the weight as 310 GSM, a useful figure to have when comparing paper options for a print job. Its clearest strength from the information available is the combination of that large sheet size and a defined 25-sheet quantity. The honest caveat is that those details alone don’t tell you how the paper looks or behaves in a particular printer, so choose it for the size and product designation you need.

Planning around the sheet size

At 88.9 x 118.8 cm, each sheet gives you a large working area. That can suit a project planned around prints at this scale, or work where the final trim is smaller; the actual finished size will depend on how you prepare the image and handle the sheet. With 25 sheets in the product title, you can also plan the quantity as a batch instead of treating this as a single-sheet purchase. I’d keep the full product name to hand when comparing options: “German Etching” is the specific designation here, while 310 GSM and the dimensions help distinguish it from papers with other listed weights or formats. Those are concrete details, rather than a promise about print appearance.
