Hahnemühle DFA Rice Paper 100GSM 91.4cmx30m

Hahnemühle DFA Rice Paper 100GSM 91.4cmx30m | Rice paper for wide-format printing

Choosing paper for a wide print can be awkward when the available format doesn’t suit the image. Hahnemühle DFA Rice Paper is printer paper in a generous width, supplied in a 30-metre length. Its title identifies it as rice paper with a weight of 100gsm, giving you the key details to compare with the print size and paper weight you have in mind. It’s a product to consider when you specifically want rice paper for a printer-paper workflow, rather than a familiar sheet size. The 91.4cm width gives room to plan wider prints, while the length provides material for more than one print. I’d start by matching the intended image dimensions to the paper width, then account for any margins or trimming you expect to need. That keeps the choice practical, without guessing at how the paper will look or behave in your particular setup.

Planning your print format

Before choosing paper, it helps to work from the image outward: decide how wide the finished print should be, then consider how much extra paper you want around it for borders or finishing. The stated width is the main point to compare with your planned output. Length matters too if you’re preparing several images or prints, since it gives you a continuous amount of paper to plan across rather than a stated count of individual sheets. The product name also makes the paper type and weight easy to identify when comparing options. Those details can help narrow your selection, but they don’t tell the whole story of a print. Your intended image, chosen printer and preferred finish all play a part in deciding whether this specific paper is the right match. If the format and rice-paper description fit your project, this is a clearly identified option to consider.
