Hahnemühle DFA William Turner 190GSM 43.2cmx12m

Hahnemühle DFA William Turner 190GSM 43.2cmx12m | A long paper roll for print work

The defining decision is the 43.2 cm by 12 m roll format: it gives you a continuous length of paper to plan around, rather than a pack of individual sheets. Hahnemühle names this version DFA William Turner, with a stated weight of 190 GSM. That makes the product’s identity and working dimensions clear at a glance. It’s for people choosing printer paper by roll width, length and weight, whether they’re preparing a longer print run or setting up a print workflow where sheet-by-sheet loading isn’t the format they want. The name William Turner identifies the paper variant; the title doesn’t give a reason for that naming, so I wouldn’t read a particular surface or finish into it. The useful thing here is the concrete format: 43.2 cm wide and 12 metres long.

When you’re comparing roll paper, start with the width your printer can accommodate and the kind of output you expect to make. At 43.2 cm wide, this roll gives you a specific working width to compare against your printer’s supported media sizes. Its 12 m length is the other practical number: it helps you estimate how much paper a job may use and how often you’ll need to replace the roll. The 190 GSM figure is the stated paper weight, a helpful point of comparison when choosing between papers. Those numbers make this a straightforward option to assess for your own print setup. They don’t tell you how a print will look, so choose the William Turner version if that’s the paper name you’re specifically seeking, rather than assuming the title describes a particular visual effect.

For a careful purchase, treat the width and length as the main fit and planning details, then use 190 GSM to compare weight with the other paper options you’re considering. It’s a focused product choice: one named variant, one roll size and a clearly stated paper weight.
