Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling Metal Gold Plated 10.0 M 120 D

Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling Metal Gold Plated 10.0 M 120 D | A 10-metre link for antenna connections

Instead of shifting equipment closer to an antenna socket, you can use this Hama cable to bridge the distance. It has a coax plug at one end and a coax coupling at the other, making it suitable for connecting antenna equipment with those connections. At 10.0 metres, it gives you room to route a connection across a longer space; that’s the useful point here, rather than a short lead for gear sitting side by side. The connectors are metal and gold plated, and the cable is black. If you’re planning a route along a wall or around furniture, the length gives you some flexibility, though it’s still worth measuring the path before choosing where the cable will run. This is a straightforward antenna cable for a setup that needs a coax connection and a longer reach.

Planning the cable run

Think about where each end needs to land before laying the cable. A route that follows the edges of a room can be easier to keep tidy than one crossing an open walkway, and leaving a little slack at the ends can make it easier to connect or reposition equipment later. Avoid pulling the cable tight around corners; a relaxed route is easier to manage. The black finish is a practical detail to bear in mind when deciding where it will be visible. This cable’s job is simple: provide a connection between coax-compatible antenna equipment at the two ends. Measure the route itself, including turns, rather than relying only on the straight-line distance between the connection points.
