Hama Audio Cable 3.5-mm-Jack-Plug - 2 Cinch-Plug Stereo 5.0 M

Hama Audio Cable 3.5-mm-Jack-Plug - 2 Cinch-Plug Stereo 5.0 M | Connect stereo audio over 5 metres

Its 3.5 mm jack plug splits to two cinch plugs, giving you a straightforward way to link a jack audio output with a stereo cinch connection. This Hama cable suits anyone whose audio equipment has those matching sockets and who needs more reach than a short lead provides. At 5 metres, it can bridge a gap between equipment without needing to place everything side by side. The two cinch plugs carry the left and right sides of a stereo connection; the jack is the single connector at the other end. It’s a simple cable for a specific job, rather than a general-purpose adapter. Before you connect it, match the plug shapes to the sockets you intend to use. The cable is black, so it’s easy to keep a low profile alongside other leads.

Choosing where it fits

Start with the connection you need to make: one end of the link must accept a 3.5 mm jack plug, and the other must accept two cinch plugs. That connector arrangement is the main thing to get right. The cable is intended for stereo audio, so its pair of cinch plugs is used together rather than as a single-connector connection. If your setup has a jack connection at one end and a two-socket cinch connection at the other, this is the cable format to look for. Its 5-metre reach gives you some freedom in how you position the connected equipment, while keeping the connection itself direct. For a shop-floor recommendation, I’d put it plainly: choose it for that exact jack-to-stereo-cinch link, not when your equipment calls for a different connector layout.
