Hama High-Speed HDMI-Cable 4K Ethernet 5.0m

Hama High-Speed HDMI-Cable 4K Ethernet 5.0m | More room for your HDMI setup

Keep a 4K HDMI setup connected without having to place its devices side by side. The Hama High-Speed HDMI-Cable is a 5.0-metre HDMI cable, with Ethernet named in its product title, for a longer run between HDMI equipment. Its reach is the main reason to choose it: you can plan the setup around where your devices need to sit, rather than around a short cable. The black finish keeps the cable visually low-key in many rooms. It’s a straightforward option if you’re looking for a High-Speed HDMI cable labelled for 4K and Ethernet, and need five metres to make the layout work. One honest point: the cable itself won’t improve a picture beyond what the connected equipment and setup can deliver.

Before choosing where to run it, measure the route the cable will follow, not just the gap between the two devices. A path around a desk or along a wall can take more length than the direct distance suggests. It’s also worth thinking about where the HDMI sockets sit and whether the cable can reach them without being pulled taut. That little bit of planning can save you from finding the cable comes up short once everything is in place. If you’re rearranging a screen and its source device, decide on their positions first, then measure the route between them. This cable’s listed length gives you a clear figure to work with when planning that run.
