Hama Network Cable CAT-6A 10 GBIT/s S/FTP Afgeschermd 1.50m

Hama CAT-6A 10 Gbit/s S/FTP Shielded Network Cable 1.50m | A short, shielded wired connection

Loose or overly long cabling can make a simple network connection awkward. This Hama network cable gives you a short, direct link for nearby network equipment. It’s a CAT-6A cable rated at 10 Gbit/s, with S/FTP shielding, and measures 1.50m from end to end. The black finish keeps it visually discreet alongside other cables. It suits a setup where the devices are close enough for a short run, such as equipment arranged on the same desk or shelf. The main thing to get right is the route: measure the distance the cable needs to cover, including any path around furniture, rather than relying on the straight-line gap. That way, you can tell whether 1.50m will reach without pulling the cable taut. It’s a straightforward option when a longer cable would leave unwanted slack.

Measure the route before choosing

Before you settle on a cable length, trace the path between the two points it needs to connect. Allow for the way the cable will actually run, not just the distance between the devices. A short cable can help keep a nearby setup tidy, but it won’t suit a route that needs to go around a desk or along a wall if that adds too much distance. Also consider the network speed you need: the cable’s rating is one part of a wired connection, while the connected equipment and network service also affect the speed you experience. This Hama cable is a practical fit when its length and stated rating match your setup. If you’re replacing an existing cable, comparing its route and required rating first can save you from choosing one that’s either too short or more than you need.
