Hama Power Strip 3-FOLD Overvoltage Protection Switch 1.4 M Black

Hama Power Strip 3-FOLD Overvoltage Protection Switch 1.4 M Black | Three sockets, with overvoltage protection

When the desk has a camera charger, a computer and another device all looking for a socket, the Hama Power Strip 3-FOLD gives you three plug-in positions in one place. It’s a straightforward option for a home office or equipment corner where you want to bring several devices together rather than spread them across separate wall sockets. The strip has overvoltage protection and a switch, and its 1.4 m cable gives you a defined reach from the wall outlet to the spot where you need power. It comes in black, so it can sit unobtrusively alongside dark desk equipment. The useful thing here is the combination of three sockets and protection in a compact everyday accessory; there’s no need to buy a larger strip if three positions are enough for your setup.

Where to place it

Think about the cable route before settling on a position. Measure from the wall socket to the place where you’d actually use the strip, allowing for the route around a desk leg or along a wall. That makes it easier to tell whether the cable can reach without pulling the strip out of place. Once positioned, the switch gives you a single point of control for the strip. For a camera workspace, that can keep chargers and other plugged-in equipment gathered at the same spot instead of scattered around the room. It’s a simple piece of kit, and its appeal is practical: three sockets, a switch and overvoltage protection, with a clear cable length to plan around.
