Hama Sat-Aansluitkabel F-Plug - Coax-Plug 1.5 M 90 DB

Hama Sat-Aansluitkabel F-Plug - Coax-Plug 1.5 M 90 DB | Connect F and coax sockets

Connect a satellite cable socket to a coax connection with the Hama Sat-Aansluitkabel F-Plug - Coax-Plug 1.5 M 90 DB. It has an F plug at one end and a coax plug at the other, with a cable length of 1.5 metres. That makes it a straightforward option when the two connections you need are these different types and a short cable run will reach. The cable is white, so it can blend in more quietly against a pale wall or cabinet than a dark lead. For a tidy setup, I’d first work out the route from one socket to the other, including any turns around furniture, then see whether 1.5 metres gives you enough slack. It’s a simple, specific cable: its main job is to bridge an F connection and a coax connection.

When choosing a connecting cable, the ends matter as much as the length. This one is described as F-plug to coax-plug, so the useful check is whether those are the connection types at the two points you want to join. The 1.5-metre length suits a relatively nearby connection; it gives you a little room to route the cable neatly rather than pulling it tight between the sockets. If your cable path has to go around a stand, shelf or cabinet, include that detour when estimating the distance. A cable that reaches without tension is easier to position cleanly. The 90 dB figure is part of the product name, and the white finish is a practical detail if the cable will be visible. There’s no need to make this more complicated than it is: match the two plug types, consider the route, and choose this cable when its length works for your layout.
