Hama Sat-Aansluitkabel F-Plug - F-Plug Metal Gold Plated 5.0 M 120 DB

Hama Satellite Connection Cable F-Plug to F-Plug Metal Gold-Plated 5.0 m 120 dB | A straightforward satellite cable run

The Hama Satellite Connection Cable F-Plug to F-Plug is 5.0 metres long, giving you room to route a satellite connection between two points. It’s intended for anyone who needs a cable with an F-plug at each end, such as when arranging a satellite setup with matching F sockets. The practical benefit is simple: both ends use the same connector type, so there’s no different plug arrangement to plan for along the run. Its black finish is easy to keep discreet against many dark surfaces, though it may be more visible on a pale wall. The title also specifies metal, gold-plated connectors and a 120 dB figure. This is a purpose-specific connection cable; its appeal is in having the stated connector arrangement and length ready for a satellite cable route, rather than in extra features.

Planning the cable route

Before placing the cable, measure the path it needs to follow, including any turns around furniture or along the edge of a room. A straight-line measurement between the two connection points can underestimate the length you’ll use once the cable follows a real route. Keep the run arranged so it can reach both ends without being pulled tight. That small bit of planning makes it easier to position the connected equipment where you want it, while keeping the cable path tidy. The 5.0-metre length gives you a clear starting point for that measurement; allow for the route itself, rather than assuming every metre can be used as a direct gap between the two points.
