Hama Universal Notebook-Netadapter 12-22V/90W

Hama Universal Notebook-Netadapter 12-22V/90W | Practical notebook power

Keep a notebook powered with the Hama Universal Notebook-Netadapter, a black adapter described for notebook use. Its 12–22V/90W rating gives you a clear starting point when looking for a power supply for your day-to-day computer use. It’s aimed at notebook owners who need an adapter in this voltage and power range; the plain black finish keeps it visually understated on a desk or in a work area. The useful part here is the stated range and rating, rather than a promise that it suits every notebook. “Universal” can be a helpful label, but individual computers still have their own power requirements. If you’re replacing an adapter, compare the figures on the existing one with this model’s rating, then make sure the physical connection is right for your notebook. That’s the practical way to decide if it’s a match.

Choosing the right adapter

Start with the power information for your notebook. The required voltage needs to fall within this adapter’s stated range, and the notebook’s power demand must be within its capacity. Also check that the connector fits and that the polarity is suitable for your device. Those details matter more than the word “universal”: it describes the product, but it shouldn’t be taken as proof of compatibility with every notebook. If you still have the original power supply, its label is a useful reference; otherwise, use the notebook maker’s power requirements. This is a straightforward adapter, so the decision is mainly about matching it to the computer you want to power. Get that match right and you’ll know what this Hama model is for: supplying notebook power within its stated range, in a simple black design.
