Ilford Cotton Artist Textured 310GSM 17" 43.2cmx15m 1ROLL

Ilford Cotton Artist Textured 310GSM 17" 43.2cmx15m 1ROLL | A textured surface for art prints

Your prints have a tactile, textured surface rather than the look of a smooth sheet. Ilford Cotton Artist Textured is a 310 gsm paper roll for photographers and artists making prints where the character of the paper matters as much as the image. Its cotton, artist-paper identity and textured finish make it especially suited to artwork and photographic images that benefit from a more traditional, tactile presentation. The roll is 17 inches wide (43.2 cm) and 15 metres long, giving you paper in a continuous length rather than as individual sheets. That can suit a print workflow where you want to produce images from a roll. The honest point to keep in mind is that a textured surface becomes part of how the finished print looks; it won’t suit every image or every presentation. If you want the paper itself to contribute visible character, this Ilford roll is a focused option to consider.

Choosing textured paper is a visual decision, not just a matter of paper weight. Fine detail, broad areas of tone and the image’s overall mood can all read differently when printed on a surface with texture. This roll is aimed at people who want that surface character in the finished work, rather than a neutral sheet that draws no attention to itself. The 310 gsm weight gives you the stated paper weight to compare when planning a print, while the 17-inch width and 15-metre roll format tell you the size and length you’re buying. Those concrete details make it easier to judge whether the format fits the prints you have in mind. It’s a straightforward product description: cotton artist paper, textured, in a substantial weight and roll format. Choose it for prints where that texture is part of the look you want, and consider a smoother paper when the image calls for a less pronounced surface.
