Ilford Galerie Prestige Smooth Pearl 310 GPSPP 111.8 X27 MTR

Ilford Galerie Prestige Smooth Pearl 310 GPSPP 111.8 X27 MTR | Wide roll format for photo prints

For printing photographs in a wide, continuous format, the Ilford Galerie Prestige Smooth Pearl 310 GPSPP 111.8 X27 MTR is a photo paper roll with a listed size of 111.8 x 27 m. Its name identifies the Smooth Pearl finish, and the product designation includes 310. This is a specialist option for photographers and print studios who need paper in roll form rather than individual sheets. The generous width gives you room to plan wider prints, while the roll length can suit a run of multiple images or prints of varying lengths. The honest point to keep in mind is that the product name alone doesn’t tell you whether it suits a particular printer, so match the roll dimensions and media format to your equipment before choosing it. If those measurements work for your setup, this Ilford paper gives you a substantial length of named Smooth Pearl media to plan a print job around.

Planning your print run

At 27 m long, the roll format lets you plan more than one print from the same length of paper. Think about the finished dimensions of your images, and allow for any margins or trimming your workflow calls for. The 111.8 measurement is a key part of choosing the roll: compare it with the width your printer can handle, rather than assuming that a wide-format machine will accept every roll size. That’s a practical step, not a claim about a specific printer’s compatibility.

Keep the named finish in mind when selecting paper for a project. “Smooth Pearl” is the finish stated in this product’s name; the title doesn’t give further detail about its surface appearance. If you’re choosing between papers for a particular set of prints, use the finish name alongside the dimensions and the 310 designation to identify this specific Ilford product. Those details also make it easier to distinguish it from other Galerie Prestige papers when planning a repeat job.
