Ilford Matt Cotton Medina 320GSM 44" 111.8cmx15m 1ROLL

Ilford Matt Cotton Medina 320GSM 44" 111.8cmx15m 1ROLL | Matte cotton paper on a wide roll

Instead of buying photo paper as individual sheets, this Ilford option comes in roll format. It’s aimed at printmakers and photographers whose workflow calls for roll paper and who are specifically looking for a matte cotton stock. The product name identifies it as Matt Cotton Medina, with a paper weight of 320gsm. It’s supplied as one roll, measuring 44 inches (111.8cm) wide and 15m long, so the format and dimensions are central to the choice. This isn’t a general-purpose paper recommendation; it’s for someone who has settled on this named paper and wants it in a roll. The honest takeaway is simple: the title gives you a clearly defined paper type and size, making it easier to judge whether those match the stock and format you’re shopping for.

Choosing this paper

When you’re choosing photo paper, start with the result and workflow you have in mind. Do you want a matte paper, and are you looking for cotton stock? Those are the defining terms in this product’s name. Then consider whether a roll suits the way you prepare and print your work. Roll paper is a different purchasing format from sheets, and the stated width and length help you assess the amount and dimensions of paper you’ll be working with. If those details fit your plans, this product gives you a specific Ilford paper to consider rather than an unspecified photo-paper option. The title also identifies the weight, which can help you compare it with the paper weight you’re looking for. Keep the decision practical: choose it for the stated paper type and roll dimensions, not on the assumption of a particular print look or printer fit.
