Ilford Matt Cotton Medina 320GSM 50" 127cmx15m 1ROLL

Ilford Matt Cotton Medina 320GSM 50" 127cmx15m 1ROLL | Wide matte prints from a 15m roll

The wide roll format is what sets this Ilford Matt Cotton Medina paper apart: it gives you a 127cm-wide surface and 15 metres to work with, rather than a stack of individual sheets. It suits photographers and printmakers planning large images or a run of prints, provided their printer is set up to take roll paper. The name identifies a matte cotton paper, with a weight of 320gsm, for photo-printing projects where a sheet format would be limiting. Its 50-inch width gives you room to plan broad compositions; the roll length lets you choose the print length for each job. That flexibility is useful, though a roll this wide needs space in your printing and handling setup. Medina is the paper's named finish or variant, so you can use the full name when matching it to a specific print workflow.

Think about the finished print size before loading the roll. The 127cm width sets the maximum across the paper, while the 15m roll gives you a continuous length to allocate across your work. You can plan one long print or several shorter ones, depending on your layout and the printer's roll handling. The 320gsm weight is a concrete part of the paper choice, so factor it into your paper selection rather than treating the roll as a standard lightweight sheet. For display work, the matte cotton description may help you narrow down the surface you want; the product name alone doesn’t describe how a particular image will look on it, so your own image and print settings remain part of the decision. This is a specialist-sized roll, best considered when both the required width and a roll-fed setup suit the job.
