Kaiser Hoekbeugel

Kaiser Hoekbeugel - a folding bracket with a cold shoe

The Kaiser Hoekbeugel is a folding angle bracket for camera work from awkward positions, with a cold shoe for an accessory such as an LED light. It’s suited to photographers and video makers who need to change how they hold or position a camera when a straight-on viewpoint isn’t practical. Use it to frame a shot from a low or otherwise difficult angle, or to hold the camera for filming while keeping an LED light attached to the bracket. Its folding format is handy when you’re packing grip accessories into a bag, rather than carrying a rigid bracket. The design keeps the job straightforward: there’s a handle for carrying the camera, and mounting points for connecting camera and tripod equipment. It’s a small, specific piece of support gear, rather than a multi-purpose rig; its appeal is the combination of an adjustable working angle, a handhold and an accessory shoe.

Why it is useful

• Two 1/4-inch threaded connections: One connection is for the camera and the other for a tripod. That gives you mounting points for both pieces of equipment on the bracket.
• Folds for packing: The bracket folds down for carrying in a camera bag. It’s a useful detail if you take grip equipment along but don’t want a rigid support taking up space.
• Cold shoe for an accessory: Attach an accessory such as an LED light to the shoe. This keeps that light on the bracket while you work from a less usual camera position.
• Ergonomic handle: The handle gives you a more comfortable grip while carrying the camera. That’s particularly relevant when you’re using the bracket by hand rather than leaving the setup on a tripod.
• For awkward viewpoints: The angled bracket is intended for photography and filming from difficult positions. It offers another way to hold or position the camera when a direct shooting angle doesn’t work.

Good to know

The Kaiser Hoekbeugel is black. Its listed dimensions are 14 × 2.8 × 13.5 cm; the source doesn’t identify these as folded dimensions, so treat them as the product’s stated measurements rather than a packed-size figure. That gives you concrete dimensions to compare with the space available in your camera bag, while the foldable construction remains a separate packing benefit.
