Kaiser Lens Cap 16mm
Kaiser Lens Cap 16mm | A simple cover for your lens
The defining detail is the 16mm size: this Kaiser lens cap is made for a specific lens size, rather than being a one-size-fits-all cover. It gives you a simple way to cover the lens when you’ve finished shooting and want to put the camera away. That makes it suited to photographers who need a replacement cap or want a spare kept with their camera gear. The black colour is understated, so it won’t add a bright accent to your setup. There’s no extra feature to learn or setting to adjust; its job is simply to cover the lens between uses. Use it when packing your camera, or when leaving it between shots, to keep the lens covered while it’s not in use. If you need a cap for a different size, this 16mm version won’t be the right match.
Specialist Note
You can cover the lens as soon as you’re done, then put the camera away without leaving the glass exposed. I’d keep this cap with a lens marked for 16mm; that size designation is the detail to match, rather than assuming it will suit other lenses. Its black colour keeps the look low-key alongside dark camera gear. It suits someone replacing a missing cap or keeping a spare ready for packing up between sessions. One practical limit: a cap covers the lens, but it won’t clean dust or marks that are already on the glass, so deal with those before covering it.
