Kelvin Epos-DD
Kelvin Epos-DD | UV filtration for daylight photography
Want a filter for UV light, rather than an effect filter that changes colour or reflections? The Kelvin Epos-DD is a UV filter, so its purpose is specific: filtering ultraviolet light. It suits photographers who want that kind of filtration for daylight scenes and prefer a product named for its function. The useful starting point is to think about the result you want from a filter; this one is for UV filtering, not for changing exposure or controlling reflections. That makes its role easy to understand, though it doesn’t tell you how it’s built or what other characteristics it may have. If UV filtration is the reason you’re choosing a filter, the Epos-DD gives you a clearly named option to consider.
Specialist Note
For a bright-day routine where UV filtration is the point, I’d look at the Kelvin Epos-DD as a one-purpose filter: it’s identified as a UV filter, and that tells you what job it’s intended to do. I’d choose it for daylight photography when UV filtering is specifically what you want, rather than expecting it to control reflections or alter exposure. That distinction is worth keeping in mind at the counter. The product name and filter type are clear; I wouldn’t assume extra features from them. If you want a UV filter, this is the straightforward category to consider.
