Kentmere VC Select Brillant 12.7x17.8cm 100F

Kentmere VC Select Brillant 12.7x17.8cm 100F | Photo paper in a handy sheet size

The defining choice here is the 12.7 x 17.8 cm sheet size: it gives you a specific print format to work with, rather than a larger sheet you’d need to trim. Kentmere VC Select Brillant is photo paper for photographers who want this particular size and a pack marked 100F. That makes it straightforward to compare with the print dimensions you have in mind before you buy. Its name also identifies the paper as “VC Select Brillant”; those are useful details to keep in view when choosing between papers, but they don’t tell us every handling or printing characteristic. The honest takeaway is simple: this is a format-led option. It suits someone who already knows the approximate size of the prints they want to make and would rather choose a matching sheet than guess at a larger format.

Choosing the format

Start with the finished print you want to make. The listed dimensions are 12.7 x 17.8 cm, so compare those measurements with your intended print area and how you plan to display or store the result. A paper size is a practical decision: choosing it first can help you plan your output and avoid ending up with prints in a format you didn’t intend.

The title’s “100F” gives you the pack figure as stated, without needing to infer anything about paper weight or individual sheet construction. If you’re planning a run of prints, think about how many you expect to make and whether this pack size suits that job. For occasional printing, the same number may simply mean you have paper available for more than one session. Neither approach changes the central point: select this Kentmere paper when its named format and product designation match what you’re looking for.
