Kondor Blue KB-AARC ARRI Anti-Twist Rod Clamp | Keep rod-mounted gear in position

Keep a rod-mounted part from turning out of position as you set up a camera rig. The Kondor Blue KB-AARC ARRI Anti-Twist Rod Clamp is named for that job: it’s an ARRI anti-twist rod clamp. Its purpose is specific rather than broad, making it relevant when you need a clamped component to hold its orientation instead of rotating on its mounting point. That can help keep a rig layout orderly while you position and adjust its parts. The name identifies the clamp type and anti-twist function, but doesn’t give a rod diameter or a more detailed compatibility range, so I wouldn’t treat the ARRI wording alone as a fit check. For camera operators and rig builders who already know the rod and interface they need, this is a focused piece of support hardware, not a general-purpose camera accessory.

Specialist Note

This clamp’s clearest job is resisting unwanted rotation in a rod-mounted setup. The rod-clamp format tells you where it belongs in a rig: around a rod, supporting a part that needs to stay put. The anti-twist wording matters when you’re setting that part’s orientation and don’t want it drifting as you adjust the build. I’d consider it for a rig where a small change in angle would be a nuisance, such as keeping a mounted component aligned while arranging the rest of the setup. The ARRI designation is useful when identifying the product, but I’d match the actual interface to your rig rather than assume compatibility from the name alone.
