Kondor Blue KB-C400-UR Canon C400 Cage V-Mount Ultimate Rig Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB-C400-UR Canon C400 Cage V-Mount Ultimate Rig Space Grey | A dedicated foundation for Canon C400 rigs
What sets this accessory apart is its specific focus: it’s a cage for the Canon C400, named for a V-Mount Ultimate Rig rather than presented as a general-purpose tripod extra. It suits C400 owners planning a rig around that camera, particularly when a tripod is part of the setup. The cage is best considered as a purpose-specific part of a larger build, not as a standalone tripod. The V-Mount reference also gives you a clear direction when planning the rig’s overall format. Its Space Grey finish is a distinct styling detail for a setup where appearance matters alongside function. For a locked-off interview or a product shot, it gives you a C400-focused starting point for organising the camera rig around your tripod. Keep in mind that the title identifies the product as a cage and tripod accessory; it doesn’t establish which individual mounting parts or other components come with it. If you’re building specifically around the Canon C400 and V-Mount, its naming makes its intended role easy to understand.
Specialist Note
The easy mistake with a C400 cage is to treat it as a generic tripod add-on; this one is specifically named for the Canon C400 and a V-Mount Ultimate Rig. That camera-specific identity matters if you’re planning an interview setup around a C400, rather than shopping for a cage to move between different cameras. The V-Mount wording gives your rig planning a clear format to work around, while the cage name tells you its role in that build. I’d consider it for a tripod-based interview or a locked-off product shot, where a dedicated C400 rig is the aim. Its specificity is also its limit: it isn’t described as a universal cage.
