Kondor Blue KB-C400-UR-G Canon C400 Cage Gold Mount Ultimate Rig Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB-C400-UR-G Canon C400 Cage Gold Mount Ultimate Rig Space Grey | A focused C400 rigging option
Building a camera rig can get untidy when you’re trying to choose accessories around a specific body and support setup. The Kondor Blue KB-C400-UR-G is a cage for the Canon C400, listed as a tripod accessory, and this version is named for a Gold Mount Ultimate Rig configuration. It suits camera operators who want to build their C400 setup around that specific rigging direction, rather than start with a generic accessory and hope it fits their plan. For tripod-based interviews or a carefully arranged, repeatable camera position, a dedicated cage can form part of a more deliberate setup. The useful point here is the combination of a named camera, a named configuration and a subdued Space Grey finish. If those details match the rig you’re putting together, this is a much more targeted starting point than choosing by appearance alone.
Planning your setup
Think of this as one component in a camera build, not a complete support solution. Before choosing it, map out how you want the Canon C400 arranged for the work in front of you. For a seated interview, decide on the camera position and the accessories your setup needs around it; for a repeatable tripod-based scene, keep the rig layout consistent between setups. The product’s tripod-accessory category makes it relevant to that kind of planning, while the named Gold Mount configuration helps narrow the choice to a particular build direction.
Specialist Note
For a Canon C400 interview setup, I’d settle the rig configuration before adding accessories one by one. The Gold Mount name is the important selection detail here: choose this version when that’s the direction you’ve planned for the build, rather than treating the finish as the deciding factor. Space Grey gives the rig a restrained look, which I’d favour in a tidy studio setup where you want the camera assembly to feel visually composed. It suits C400 operators assembling a considered tripod-based rig or keeping a repeatable camera position for interviews. One practical point: a cage is only one part of that setup, so plan the rest of the build around your own working needs.
