Kondor Blue KB-FCF-KIT Firecrest Alloy Cine IRND 4x5.65" 3-Filter Starter Kit
Kondor Blue KB-FCF-KIT Firecrest Alloy Cine IRND 4x5.65" 3-Filter Starter Kit | Manage light in a cinema-size format
Keep bright scenes from dictating your exposure choices. The Kondor Blue Firecrest Alloy Cine IRND kit gives filmmakers three filters in the 4x5.65" format, for managing the light reaching the lens while working with an IRND filter type. It suits cine crews and independent filmmakers building a filter setup around this rectangular format, particularly for exterior video where daylight can make it harder to hold a chosen exposure. The three-filter starter kit gives you options to select from as conditions change; the title doesn’t identify individual density strengths, so I wouldn’t assume a particular exposure reduction. Its alloy construction is part of the product’s design, while the format is the key practical detail: this is made for a 4x5.65" filter workflow, not a small round screw-in filter setup. If that’s the format you use, this kit gives you a focused way to begin working with IRND filtration.
Specialist Note
Three filters means you’re starting with a small selection, rather than relying on one fixed IRND filter for every scene. I’d consider this kit for a filmmaker who wants to manage daylight exposure in a 4x5.65" setup, especially on outdoor scenes where controlling light helps you keep your intended camera settings. The 4x5.65" format is a practical fit only if your filter workflow is built around that size, so it won’t replace a round lens-mounted filter. The alloy construction makes this a purpose-made cine filter kit; I’d pair it with a matching 4x5.65" filter holder and choose between the three filters to suit the light on set.
