Kondor Blue KB-HH-EK Hollywood Handle Expansion Kit Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB-HH-EK Hollywood Handle Expansion Kit Space Grey | A named expansion kit for your Hollywood Handle
Rig builds can get confusing when an accessory’s purpose isn’t clear from its name. The Kondor Blue KB-HH-EK is identified as an expansion kit for the Hollywood Handle, giving you a specifically named add-on to consider when building around that handle. It suits camera operators and crew members who are putting together a rig with the Hollywood Handle and want to keep their accessory choices tied to that setup, rather than buying an unrelated part. The Space Grey finish also makes the kit’s colour clear before you add it to your order. Its strength is that focused role: this is a handle expansion kit, not a general-purpose camera accessory. The product name doesn’t describe the exact parts or the changes it makes to a rig, so I’d choose it for its stated Hollywood Handle connection, not on an assumption about particular features. If that’s the piece of your setup you’re expanding, the KB-HH-EK is easy to identify and discuss by its full product name.
Specialist Note
At the start of a rig build, I’d put this at step 1 on the parts list if the Hollywood Handle is your chosen starting point. The name matters here: “Expansion Kit” tells you this is an addition to that handle, rather than a handle in its own right, so I’d plan the rig around the named handle first. The Space Grey finish is useful to note when you’re keeping track of the version you want, especially when matching the look of your setup matters to you. It suits operators building a Hollywood Handle rig and crew members organising accessories by their intended role. My honest advice is to keep expectations tied to the title: it identifies the kit and its intended handle, but doesn’t give a detailed breakdown of what the expansion changes.
