Kondor Blue KB-TRIG-UM-BK URSA Mini Trigger Top Handle Run/Stop REC Raven Black
Kondor Blue KB-TRIG-UM-BK URSA Mini Trigger Top Handle Run/Stop REC Raven Black | Fires Off-Camera Flash for Portraits and Products
Kondor Blue KB-TRIG-UM-BK URSA Mini Trigger Top Handle Run/Stop REC Raven Black is identified by its supplier as a flash trigger/transmitter, intended to fire off-camera flashes. It suits photographers building portrait or product setups with flash units placed away from the camera, rather than anyone shopping for a flash head itself. The job is straightforward: trigger an off-camera flash while you concentrate on where the light falls. For a portrait, that might mean firing a flash positioned to light your subject; for a product shot, it can trigger a flash arranged to illuminate an object. The name includes “URSA Mini” and “Run/Stop REC”, but the supplied product information identifies this item as a flash trigger, so this description sticks to that stated role rather than assuming a camera-control function. It’s a focused tool for photographers who want to work with off-camera flash for portraits or product photography.
Specialist Note
A small product sits on the table, with a flash positioned off to one side; this is where a trigger earns its place. I’d recommend this to portrait photographers and product shooters who want to fire their flash from away from the camera. Its stated role as a flash trigger gives it a clear job: tell the off-camera flash to fire. As a transmitter, it sends that firing instruction rather than supplying the light itself, so you’ll still need a flash unit in your setup. For a portrait, position the flash to light the subject; for a product frame, aim it at the object and trigger it when you’re ready. I’d treat the URSA Mini and Run/Stop REC wording in the name as just that—not evidence of a camera-control feature.
