LaCie 12big Case By Pelican
LaCie 12big Case By Pelican | Protection for transport and storage
Moving a LaCie 12big between workspaces, or storing it where knocks, dust or rain are a concern, calls for a case made for more demanding conditions. The LaCie 12big Case By Pelican is a hard case intended for transporting and storing the LaCie 12big. Its purpose is to help protect the equipment when it needs to travel or be put away without being left exposed to everyday handling. It suits people responsible for moving or storing this system, from a studio team to an individual with a dedicated workspace. The benefit is a clear one: a purpose-specific hard case for situations where the gear needs to withstand knocks or exposure to dust and rain. It’s a focused piece of protection, rather than general-purpose luggage.
Keeping the case in your workflow
Give the case a regular place in your transport and storage routine for the LaCie 12big. That makes it easier to keep the system’s protection consistent when it moves between locations or comes out of storage. It’s most relevant when knocks, dust or rain are part of the conditions you need to plan around.
Specialist Note
Moving or storing a LaCie 12big without a dedicated protective case leaves you having to plan around every knock and dusty corner. This hard-case format gives the equipment a more protective home for those moments, and the Pelican name is right there in the product: it’s made for a job where protection matters. I’d keep it dedicated to the 12big and use it for moves between workspaces or for longer periods in storage, especially when dust or rain could be a concern. One sensible point: think of it as protection for transit and storage, not a reason to expose the equipment carelessly to the elements.
