Laowa 35mm T2.4 Interchangeable bayonet (Cine) Sony E

Laowa 35mm T2.4 Interchangeable Bayonet (Cine) Sony E | A mount option for a Laowa Cine setup

Laowa 35mm T2.4 Interchangeable Bayonet (Cine) Sony E is the Sony E bayonet version named for Laowa’s 35mm T2.4 Cine lens. It’s for filmmakers and camera owners planning a setup around that lens designation and looking for the Sony E version of its interchangeable bayonet. The useful detail is the specific pairing in the name: 35mm T2.4, Cine and Sony E. That makes this a focused accessory rather than a general camera add-on. If you’re choosing between similarly named parts, read the full title; the focal length alone doesn’t identify the bayonet version. It’s a small component, but getting the exact version right matters when you’re organising a camera kit or a production setup.

Choosing the right version

For a straightforward match, compare the complete product name with the parts list for your planned setup. Pay attention to both the Cine designation and the Sony E wording, rather than selecting by the Laowa name or 35mm description alone. Keeping those details together in your notes can also make it easier to identify the same part later when you’re planning a shoot or updating a kit list. This listing names one specific bayonet version; it isn’t a description of every interchangeable bayonet option. If your notes only say “35mm T2.4,” that leaves out the mount detail that distinguishes this product. A quick look at the full designation is a sensible final step before adding it to your equipment plan.
