Laowa Aksen 2-LENS Bundle (45mm f/2.8 + 17.5mm f/1.7 Coax Ill.) - FE | Two focal lengths for close-up and street work

The defining choice in this Laowa Aksen bundle is pairing a 45mm f/2.8 lens with a 17.5mm f/1.7 lens featuring coaxial illumination. The different focal lengths give you distinct ways to frame a subject, rather than asking one lens to cover every kind of close-up or wider composition. It’s a considered set for photographers who want to work with detail, then step back to include more of the scene. The 17.5mm lens’s coaxial illumination is a particular draw for close-up work, while the 45mm gives you a more familiar standard-prime perspective. This bundle uses the Sony FE mount and is designed for full-frame cameras. Both lenses are manual focus, so it suits photographers happy to take their time placing focus precisely. Street and travel photography are also natural settings for the 45mm’s standard view.

Specialist Note

Photographers who move between small details, travel scenes and street subjects will appreciate having both focal lengths in this set. On a full-frame camera, the 45mm gives you a 51° angle of view: a useful, natural-looking frame for a passing scene without making your subject feel far away. Its f/2.8 maximum aperture gives you some room to work as the light drops; for a moving subject, I’d still aim for around 1/250s and raise ISO if needed. The 17.5mm f/1.7 adds a wider option, and its coaxial illumination is the detail that makes this pair especially relevant for close-up work. One honest point: both lenses are manual focus, so quick, spontaneous shots take practice.
