Laowa Aksen 2-LENS Bund.(45mm f/2.8 17.5mm f/1.7 (Coax Ill)) - FX

Laowa Aksen 2-LENS Bundle (45mm f/2.8 + 17.5mm f/1.7, Coax Ill) – FX | Two focal lengths for street and travel

On a city break, your framing can change from a close detail to a busy street scene in a few steps. This Laowa Aksen two-lens bundle gives you a 45mm lens and a 17.5mm lens, so you can choose between two distinct angles of view rather than rely on one fixed perspective. The 45mm is a standard prime with a maximum aperture of f/2.8; the 17.5mm has a maximum aperture of f/1.7. It’s a set aimed at street and travel photography, where scenes and distances vary through the day. Both focal lengths use manual focus, which suits photographers who prefer to set focus themselves and take a considered approach to framing. If you’re shopping in the Macro category, note that the supplied suitability is street and travel, so those are the uses this set is best matched to.

Choosing a view

Think about what you want in the frame before changing lenses: choose the wider perspective when the surrounding scene matters, and the standard view when you want a more selective composition. Having both focal lengths in the set gives you that choice as your subject or viewpoint changes.
