Laowa Case For 24mm F/14 For Mirrorless Mounts + PL (MB2414BIG)
Laowa Case For 24mm F/14 For Mirrorless Mounts + PL (MB2414BIG) | A protective layer inside your camera bag
Without a dedicated pouch, a lens can rub against other gear as you carry it in a larger camera bag. This Laowa case is made for the 24mm f/14 lens and gives it a separate protective layer against scratches and bumps. It suits photographers who carry this lens alongside other equipment and want to keep it from knocking against the contents of their bag. Its job is straightforward: protect the lens while it’s packed away, rather than replace your main camera bag or provide a separate carrying system. The title specifies mirrorless mounts + PL, so the case is intended for the Laowa 24mm f/14 in those mount configurations. If you already organise your kit in a larger bag, this pouch offers a simple way to give that distinctive lens its own place. It’s a practical bit of protection for transport and storage, without adding claims beyond what a case like this is designed to do.
Keeping this lens separate
Use the pouch as an inner layer in your camera bag: place the lens in its case before packing it beside other equipment. That helps reduce direct contact with neighbouring gear, which is the purpose this case is made for. It’s a focused accessory for protecting the lens when it’s packed away, not a general-purpose bag for carrying a full camera setup.
Specialist Note
“Does the Laowa case give the 24mm f/14 its own protection in a camera bag?” Yes—that’s exactly the role of this pouch. The lens name matters here: it’s made for the Laowa 24mm f/14, rather than being a generic case you’d have to adapt. Its stated fit covers mirrorless mounts + PL, so choose it for the matching version of that lens. I’d use it when packing the lens alongside other kit, putting it in the pouch first to help guard against scratches and bumps. It suits owners who carry this specialist lens in a larger bag. One honest point: think of it as an inner protective layer, not a substitute for careful packing.
