The Laowa Nanomorph 80mm T2.4 1.5x S35 lens, in an aesthetic blue L-mount, strikes a perfect balance between compactness and quality. It's an anamorphic lens capable of capturing high-quality, organic images while maintaining 1.5x anamorphic squeeze on S35 sensor cameras. It also offers telephoto compression, ideally suited for close-ups. The lens range stretches from T2.4 up to T16, providing significant depth of field, complemented by its 13 aperture blades that result in a smooth bokeh.

Notably, this prime lens possesses a minimal focusing distance of 70 cm, offering unique anamorphic properties like oval bokeh, shallower depth of field, and blue lens flares. It's equipped with focus markers in both feet and meters, 0.8 MOD cinema gears on focus and aperture rings, and a 62 mm front filter thread. The Leica L-mount is interchangeable and can be swapped out for six other separately sold mounts. You can modify this Nanomorph prime using the separately available 1.33x adapter for obtaining a squeeze ratio of 2x.

A squeeze ratio of 1.5x provides an excellent equilibrium between image size and anamorphic intensity. After de-squeezing, a 1.5x squeeze ratio delivers an image ratio of 2.66:1 on a 16:9 sensor. The coverage is more expansive than that of the S35, allowing you to use Nanomorph lenses with minimal vignetting on certain full-frame cameras.
