Leofoto L Plate For Canon 760D | Change framing on a tripod

Keep your Canon 760D on a tripod as you move between landscape and portrait framing. The Leofoto L Plate For Canon 760D is a tripod accessory in an L-plate design, intended for owners of this Canon camera who want to change orientation without taking the camera off the tripod. The L-shaped mounting arrangement gives you a vertical mounting face as well as a horizontal one, so you can reframe a portrait without balancing the camera sideways on a conventional tripod attachment. That can be handy for portraits, vertical landscapes or any composition where you want the camera supported while you adjust the frame. Its appeal is specific: it’s made for a Canon 760D, rather than being a general-purpose camera plate. If you regularly alternate between horizontal and vertical images from a tripod, this is the kind of accessory that helps make that change more direct.

Specialist Note

Having to tilt a camera sideways just to make a portrait can leave your framing awkward; this L plate gives the Canon 760D a dedicated vertical mounting face instead. I’d consider it for tripod-based portraits or vertical landscape compositions: mount the camera using the upright side, then compose the frame in portrait orientation while the camera remains supported. The other useful detail is the model-specific fit named in the product: it’s intended for the Canon 760D, so this isn’t a one-size-fits-every-camera plate. If your photography is mostly handheld, you may not get much use from it; its value is in making tripod orientation changes easier.
