Light Widow Fizlock Motor Offset Arm
Light Widow Fizlock Motor Offset Arm | Position a motor off-axis
A motor can sit away from its direct mounting line, giving you an offset position for a rig setup. The Light Widow Fizlock Motor Offset Arm is a dedicated arm for that job: its name identifies both the motor role and the offset arrangement. It suits camera operators and rig builders who need to place a motor to one side rather than directly in line with its support point. That makes it most relevant when the motor’s position needs to change while assembling a setup, rather than when you’re shopping for a filter or an image effect. The title also identifies Light Widow and Fizlock, so those names are useful when matching this part to a particular equipment list. It’s a specialised component, not a general-purpose camera accessory; its appeal is the specific positioning task it’s named for.
Specialist Note
First-time buyers can mistake an offset arm for a universal motor mount; the important point here is the offset role in the name. I’d consider this one when a motor needs to sit away from its direct mounting line, rather than assuming it’s the right part for every rig. The single arm format keeps the job focused: position the motor off-axis, then build the rest of the setup around that placement. Light Widow and Fizlock are the names I’d use to identify it when checking a parts list. It suits someone assembling a setup around those specific terms. One honest limit: the name alone doesn’t tell me how it attaches, so I wouldn’t infer a fitting method from it.
