Metabones Canon EF - BLCKMG 2.5K M4/3 Cin.camt S.BSTR(0.64X)

Metabones Canon EF to Blackmagic 2.5K M4/3 Speed Booster | For a specific EF-to-M4/3 setup

The defining choice is the 0.64x Speed Booster format: Metabones names this converter for use between Canon EF and the Blackmagic 2.5K M4/3 cinema camera system. That specific pairing is the point. It suits filmmakers and camera operators working with the named EF and M4/3 systems who need a converter identified for this Blackmagic camera. The product title also makes the 0.64x designation clear, so you can distinguish it from other Metabones converters by its stated version rather than by a broad, generic label. If your setup matches those names, this is the model to consider; if you’re looking for an adapter for a different camera system, this listing doesn’t describe that. It’s a specialist accessory, and its appeal comes from that precise application.

A model with a clearly defined pairing

Metabones’ product name gives you three useful identifiers to match against your kit: the Canon EF side, the Blackmagic 2.5K M4/3 cinema camera designation, and the 0.64x Speed Booster version. That makes this a more focused purchase than a converter described only by brand or mount. The honest point is that this isn’t presented as a universal adapter; the title points to one named system pairing. For anyone building around that pairing, those identifiers help separate this model from other products in the same category. Check the exact name against the equipment you’re using, especially the Blackmagic 2.5K M4/3 designation and the 0.64x version, before choosing between similarly named converters.
