Metabones Canon EF - X-Mount T Speed Booster Ultra (0.71X)

Metabones Canon EF - X-Mount T Speed Booster Ultra (0.71X) | A 0.71X EF-to-X-Mount conversion

To pair a Canon EF lens with an X-Mount setup, the Metabones Canon EF - X-Mount T Speed Booster Ultra (0.71X) gives you a specifically named converter and a clear reduction figure: 0.71X. That makes it a focused option for photographers who already know they want this particular EF-to-X-Mount combination, rather than a general-purpose accessory. The T designation and “Ultra” name are part of the product title; the key practical detail to weigh is the 0.71X figure alongside the mounts you need to connect. It’s worth being exact about those two ends when choosing a converter, since the intended pairing is the point of this product. If that’s the conversion you’re looking for, the name tells you the essentials at a glance. There’s no need to guess from a broad product category: this is a Metabones Speed Booster Ultra for Canon EF and X-Mount, marked 0.71X.

Reading the product name

The title is unusually helpful for narrowing down the choice. “Canon EF” identifies the lens mount named for this converter, while “X-Mount” identifies the other side of the stated pairing. The 0.71X designation is also explicit, so you can compare the product against a setup that calls for that exact figure. In the shop, I’d treat those details as the first filters: does the named EF-to-X-Mount connection match your intended combination, and is 0.71X the reduction you’re seeking? The product name also includes “T” and “Ultra”; both are useful identifiers when distinguishing this model from other Metabones listings. This is a specialist converter, so a precise match matters more than choosing by brand name alone. Keep the full title handy when comparing products, especially the mount wording and reduction figure. That gives you a straightforward way to tell this model apart without relying on a generic description. Its appeal is its clearly stated pairing and ratio—not a promise of one particular result across every setup.
