Metabones Contax Yashica - E-Mount S.booster Ultra (0.71X)

Metabones Contax Yashica - E-Mount S.booster Ultra (0.71X) | A 0.71x converter for a specific lens pairing

The defining choice here is the 0.71x optical reduction: this Metabones converter is made for pairing Contax Yashica lenses with an E-Mount camera. It suits photographers who already own lenses with a Contax Yashica mount and want to use them on an E-Mount body. The name is unusually helpful in this case: it identifies both ends of the conversion and gives the reduction factor up front. That makes it easier to distinguish from other converters in the Metabones range. Its S.booster Ultra designation and 0.71x figure are the details to focus on when comparing models. This is a specialised accessory, not a general-purpose adapter; its value depends on having the lens and camera mounts named in the product title. If those are the two systems in your kit, this is the specific combination it’s intended to serve.

A precise match matters

With a converter, the mount names are the practical starting point. Here, Contax Yashica is the lens side and E-Mount is the camera side. The 0.71x figure is also part of the model’s identity, so keep it in mind if you’re choosing between versions. In other words, this product is best suited to someone who knows they want this particular Contax Yashica-to-E-Mount pairing, rather than someone browsing for an unspecified adapter. The product title gives you a straightforward way to match it to your setup: compare the lens mount and camera mount with the two names shown, then make sure the 0.71x version is the one you want. It’s a focused piece of kit for a focused purpose.
