Mofage Circular-Polarizing Filter

Mofage Circular-Polarizing Filter | Reduce reflections, enrich colour

Reflections can wash out detail on non-metal surfaces, while a pale sky or green foliage may look less vivid than it did to your eye. The Mofage Circular-Polarizing Filter is a circular polarizer made for the POCO filter adapter, reducing those reflections and adding colour saturation to skies and foliage. It’s a focused accessory for photographers using that adapter who want more control over glare and contrast in a scene. Use it to cut reflections from surfaces such as glass or water, bring more definition to a bright sky, or give leafy scenes stronger colour. The filter rotates through 360 degrees, so its polarizing effect can be adjusted to suit the scene. Its outer rim has a module 0.8 gear, a specific feature for turning the filter through the adapter’s geared arrangement. Autofocus lenses remain compatible, so adding the polarizer doesn’t rule out autofocus.

Optics and handling

• Circular polarizer: Its polarization reduces reflections and glare from non-metallic surfaces. That’s useful when reflections are obscuring the look of a scene.
• More vivid skies and foliage: The filter increases colour saturation in these subjects, giving outdoor scenes stronger colour and contrast.
• 360-degree rotation: The filter can turn through a full circle, allowing the polarizing effect to be adjusted to the direction and character of the light.
• Module 0.8 outer gear: Teeth around the filter mount provide a geared way to rotate it. This detail is specific to the filter’s handling in the POCO adapter setup.
• Autofocus compatible: The filter works with autofocus lenses, so you can keep using autofocus while the polarizer is fitted.
